I love the weeks where I don’t publish a newsletter.
Just like I love the weeks where I do publish a newsletter.
Can you do something, or not do something, and still be wholly loved?
If this is the case, if you can be wholly loved no matter what you do, you will have gained the freedom to act in accordance with your most passionate truths, curiosities, and inspirations. You will have gained the freedom to explore, discover, and express your full nature without any hindrance.
When you feel resistance, get inquisitive. Ask yourself, “Why do I feel resistance here?” Not from a place of guilt or shame, from a place of neutral curiosity.
You will find, 99% of the time, you feel resistance because some part of you *believes* that whatever circumstance you are in, i.e. what is triggering the resistance or point of tension, poses the possibility of love being withdrawn from you. In essence, you are scared that what is happening, or what might happen, or what has happened, means that you cannot be loved.
Public speaking is a great example. A lot of energy can enter your consciousness during such an occurrence, particularly in the moments leading up to your speaking in public.
You can audit any energy, at any time. Again, but on a more general level, you’ll find that there is some belief underlying the energy you are aware of.
“Why does so much energy pop up with public speaking?”
Because of survival. You are presenting your being in front of many other beings (which are actually all just you, but anyways…), which your brain sees as a potential threat, because if you present poorly, you might be dismissed as unworthy, kicked out of the tribe, and left to fend for yourself in the wild.
Quite primal!
Look at all the beliefs that could be lying underneath this situation:
You believe that it is even possible to present “poorly.”
You believe that your worth can be invalidated.
You believe that public speaking poses a threat.
You believe that you are not capable of speaking in public.
You believe that public speaking is a survival-state.
You believe that you are not good enough.
And many more…
You believing that any energy associated with public speaking is “bad” or “fearful” is what is fueling those “bad” or “fearful” energies.
What if you changed what you believed?
Here’s how you can change your relationship with energy. Question energy as you please (from a place of neutrality), ask yourself and identify what beliefs you may be holding onto in association with that energy, and, from there, choose what to believe about that energy.
As a conscious human being with an incredibly powerful brain, you get to choose what you believe. Instead of saying and believing, “I am nervous,” before you speak in public, you can choose to say and believe, “I am excited.”
There was a study done on this exact situation. Harvard took a bunch of participants that were due to speak in public and had them state either, “I am anxious,” or “I am excited.” Guess which group felt less anxious?
This is specifically what they found: ““Reappraising anxiety as excitement by stating “I am excited” caused individuals to feel more excited, to speak longer, and to be perceived as more persuasive, competent, confident, and persistent.”
You get to choose what you say and believe, and those choices directly influence your reality. So… why would you not audit your entire belief system and begin to *consciously* rework it how you desire.
It is not possible for me to speak poorly. How I speak is strong and powerful.
I am excited to watch it go well (after all, you are the unperturbed consciousness seated at the center of all the energies that you are aware of).
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (why do you think religions are viewed so highly… they provide salvation and instill holy belief systems of light and love).
Everything always works out in my favor.
All energies serve me positively.
God says I am good enough no matter what.
I am eternally rooted and established in love.
I am always loved.
The list goes on…
You can literally say and believe all of these things and watch as the vibration of your conscious experience rises. Joe Dispenza has made a globally-prosperous career out of teaching this.
What you are believing is what you are creating. I believe I love myself and God loves me (potato-potato) even if I don’t publish a newsletter post in a given week (as if a newsletter post getting sent out or not is so big and powerful that love could be removed😂 (there’s a lot to take away from that… notice what you overly-assign importance to (everything has the same level of importance, and how much you believe this correlates to how intimate you are with this present moment))). Is that enough parentheses??
I’m free to do whatever I do. I’m free to believe whatever I believe. I’m free to feel whatever I feel. I also can choose to do whatever I want to do, believe whatever I want to believe, and feel whatever I want to feel.
And so can you.
