“If we look at aging through the lens of time perception, at 21 years old, MOST people have lived 50% of their life.
This is due to a decrease in the dopamine receptor density in the brain and lack of new experiences.”
The solution = keep having NEW EXPERIENCES. Keep the NOVELTY high. Perspective is also a factor. Treat each day as a new experience, no matter how mundane, routine, or habitual. Treat EACH BREATH as a new experience, BECAUSE IT IS.
“We are born abundant and most of becoming an adult is a conveyor belt of manufactured blindness to our abundance. As soon as your existence is your greatest gift, then anything you hold can be held loosely. You experience neither loss nor gain and only accrue more societal independence tickets or lose some of your societal independence tickets. However, our nature is free, abundant, and joyful. The sense of lack is the lie.
When spiritually sovereign, you can take risk without experiencing the feeling of risk. Paper gains are immaterial emotionally, just as are paper losses. Abundance lies in every next breath and joy is found in acknowledgement of that abundance.”
“There is no disease that requires medications for the rest of one’s life.”
